Basically I'm travelling down from Uni on Wednesday to pick a bike I got on ebay.

Uni mates want a jolly boys outing so therefore we have about 4 hours to do something in the area.

Any one got any ideas?

Stay out of those puddles. They can be deceptively deep.

Riding? Flyup417, or if you're into more XC type stuff (which I don't think anyone is anymore apart from me), grab a map, start from Leckhampton Hill and go from there. Probably a bit wet in Cranham Woods this time of year.

Sitting around drinking? Plenty of proper boozers in Glos, Cheltenham's better if you're after something more s****y. If you fancy somewhere studenty, Frog and Fiddle in 'Nam.

Riding wouldn't be an option considering I'm not sure some of them can even ride a bike.

Is there any hills similar to the wrekin?

Are you looking to just go for a bimbly walk up a hill? If so, Cleeve Hill outside Cheltenham.

EDIT - here you go:
