I know it's been talked about on here before but does anyone have a gpx of the route through Cloich Hills to Peebles?

Boys at work have done it but not huge amount of off-road...I'll ask if they've got a copy

Cheers folks. I'll have a good look at them and see if I fancy it for tomorrow.

Your gpx doesn't download Colin. It's just an epic amount of code.

Right click. Save Link As... (for Chrome anyway)

Just tested it and it works OK. If you're still having problems, PM me and I'll email it over.

Edit: Screw it. I've emailed it to you anyway 😀

Here's my effort from last weekend: Here

I keep trying to refine the route every time - my view is that the West Linton drove road has too much climbing on it so the forest road I take towards Eddleston is easier.

It's the modern curse - I just expect to have everything and the world with a single click.

Got it now. Cheers.

I think I did it borders to Pentlands twice (can't recall if ever did it the other way).

Once was the Longest Bivi with macpuppy et al. - really hard (in those days pre GPS) to find the narrow entrance to the forest at Eddleston / Barony end. And to navigate the path choices to hit the West Linton path.

The next time was solo, return from Glentress having biked from Edinburgh to Glentress, done the Blue, had tea, then biked back. That was harder work, but knowing the route made navigation easier through the forest.
