You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I was there doing the black had a wee slidey moment which resulted in an off and latterly I discovered I had bent my rear mech. It was ting tinging off my spokes when a kindly Yorkshire(?)gentleman with orange shoes insisted on fixing it for me and then promptly re indexed my gears. He worked in a bike shop he said, so knew what he was doing. Wow!!! random acts of kindness from an MTBr but imagine my horror when I looked over and saw he rode an Orange 5 😉
Anyway if it was you then thanks very much! (and we never did see your missus so I hope she made it back ok as you didn't seem too keen on waiting for her!)
Are folk really too shy/socially backwards to thank people without the safety of the Internet to do it through these days? Or have you simply spent the weekend thinking of how you can maybe hook up with this modern day trail centre hero? 😉
Sounds like Ian. Especially with the missing missus.
Very new looking disco slipper?
Orange 5 29er.
We'd all gone home by lunch and left them to it.
You can thank him yourself.
