Always seems closed when I was up there, hopefully it will be open this year, I tend to walk into peebles to the first pub!

They've changed something, as in you can park there for free as long as you buy a coffee - or something like that.

Been in a few times,guy who runs it works in the Cafe too I think,foods ok and big couches for chilling with a pint

they did have the café lease but its now the Hydro that have it IIRC.

I've ended up parking there before and not an eyelid battered, but only been in once years ago.
