Smee - were you there this pm ? I was thinking of GT early tomorrow am and am thinking things wil be thawing fairly rapidly now and overnight (hence muddy Mugdock looks less appealing !)

iainc - inners this afternoon - still icy, but it is thawing pretty fast. Problem is that there was a lot of snow once you got any height above the valley bottom, now it is ice.

stuartie_c - start at innerleithen golf course and go explore there are a lot of trails up there.

At Glentress this morning. Lots of snowy icy stuff at the bottom right down to the car park and about 4-6 inches of snow up towards the top.

A lot of it unrideable on the ups, spat the dummy once or twice or maybe more.

Downs were more fun, saddle down as far as it would go, feet out and kind of skied our way down with a dab here and there.
