Getting back on the bike again after a long stint of no riding.  Going solo to tweed valley in the morning.

Intending to do the red route at glentress to get a feel for it again. I really dont know my way around the valley, none of the off piste stuff.

But I quite fancy having a peek at the golfie trails later on in the afternoon. Flat white looks great, would like to try find it and and the fire road leading to it.

Any suggestions on where to park and the best way to get the to start of the trail? Ive been on trail forks and have a rough idea but i really dont know the area well. Just looking for some pointers and suggestions for the area. Anything in particular i should know?

Cheers

Park anywhere in inners.

Ride along the road to the golf course

Turn right at the golf course, go through the gate, turn right

At the first junction go left

At the next junction go right

When it flattens off Flat White is on your right.

Thanks very much BoardinBob, much appreciated. Even though I can see them all on trailforks etc its hard to get my bearings out on the hills!

Aye Poah thanks will be wrapped up. Just spent most of the evening there sorting my bike in the garage - bloody freezing.

You can use Trailforks out on the trails to get your location and navigate to where you want to be.

You can use trail forks to plan out your ride too and follow a predetermined route.
