Heading out that way in a couple of weeks and would like to explore them. Can anyone give me any pointers?
I was trying to get some info from the BaseCamp Bikes boys as I assumed they'd be helping with trail building. They said they knew nothing...
There will obviously be a bit of trail centre action and knowing NoFuss some of it will be run backwards. Last time I went around I was looking attentively for off-piste stuff leaving the trail centre tracks but saw nothing.
Looking at the SES facebook page suggests there might be a bit of old school drove road type action.
Other than that, your guess is as good as mine.
Apparently the event centre will actually be in Tomintoul town centre, not the Glenlivet trail head as I had assumed.
Last years rock&road festival there used the Glenlivet estate trails, roads and peatbogs.
