Planning a day trip for next weekend.

Assuming the snow goes, thinking about Glenlivet. We all like XC focused trails rather than super techy...

Enjoyed it the last time there - just after it opened.

How is it nowadays?

Is the cafe open again?

Thanks.

I was there last weekend the weather wasnt good but the trails were in good condition. The Cafe is closed now as it wasnt doing enough trade and not sure if it will ever open again. The toilets are still open though.

Did they ever build the skills area there? I heard what sounded like interesting plans, but not sure if they ever came to anything.

I should make more of an effort to go there as it’s my type of trail centre really; an interesting climb and a fun but not too tech descent (with lots of optional harder bits if that’s your thing). Shame about the cafe though, the burgers were excellent when I went.

Skill area has been built. Just above the (ex-)cafe. It’s good. Bit of choice and enough to keep the kids busy during faff time.
