You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I plan as part of a long day out to take in Glen Ample (The one near Loch Lubnaig don't know if there's another one) but not sure what it's like. I know it was always regarded as a classic and I believe it was a Kenny Wilson route. I have since heard that the trail may have been vandalised and turned into a vehicle track? Anyone ridden it recently?
I plan to do it south to north.
Ta.
Kenny and I did it a month or so ago. It has been very much sanitised, a rough landrover track with not much singletrack left. Still a good day out if you get decent weather, but not much technical riding in it any more.
...Excuse the fashion disaster in the foreground, 'tis downshep and he doesn't get out much .. 🙂

Thanks for the info! It looks a bit like the Glen Kendrum and Glen Dubh tracks which I plan to do on the same day. Maybe I'll take the cross country bike. My mate is now looking for his Kenny Wilson book!
I think I'll be a fashion disaster too, I just bought an MTB bum bag. Very handy indeed though.
