Hey guys, a bunch of mates are heading up to watch the world cup next weekend at Fort William, they are staying at Drumnadrochit for a couple of nights to do some riding also.

Looking at the map there are a good few tracks and paths marked through the hills around Glen Affric so I was wondering if any of these are worth riding? Quite a few have some decent elevation gain and look good in theory however as you know in Scotland what is marked on the map can turn out to be pretty impossible to ride in reality, even if it does look steep!

Thanks

The track along the North side of Loch Affric is ace! we came back that way from Camban bothy last year. Be aware that you could plan a ride, get there & the tracks closed for forestry work.

HTH.
