This sunday coming, 1030, well worth going, watched the women's in the city yesterday and it was awesome, tremendous atmosphere, quality racing and all free, event the finish area, well done Glasgow.
Lots of big names, Cav, Greipel, Kristoff, Van Avermets, Bouhanni... Dan Martin a certainty to have a go!
Good shout, only realised it was happening a couple of weeks ago, would have been embarrassing to miss this on our doorstep!
Plan to combine spectating with the benefits of being baby-free for the day, so pub-spectate-pub-spectate-pub-chippy-train home I think!
There's a St Mungo's beer tent on Glasgow Green Iain, sorted! Gimme a shout if yer going, be good to get a wee blether, it's been a few years!.

TBH, it's been terribly poorly advertised, which is a right shame.
Yes, will be along, probs Glasgow Green area, or the Byres Rd corner maybe. Been at a couple of the track events which have been great to see, and going to watch the MTB tomorrow at Cathkin 🙂
nobeer - where did you watch it yesterday ? We watched the Commonwealth stuff at both Byres rd and the Glasgow Green finish and undecided for this one.
Started in town, same wee spot we watched the worlds a wee while back - bottom of West George st., just before nelson mandela place, then you can nick down a block to see them power up St Vincent st.
Watched 3 or 4 laps there, then wandered along the race route to the Green. I'd probably stay at thw first bit a little longer this sunday, as you get to see a bit more racing than at the Green.
