Anyone ridden it recently? Just wondering how it will be after the recent weather, not been there for a few years.

Both Gisburn and Llandegla are just over an hour for me to get to, wondering which one to pick tomorrow.

How do you feel about puddles?

There will likely be a few, but the trail itself will stay firm and some of it rides better after rain.

Thanks Chakaping, I can take puddles, as long as the trail stills rides OK.

Most of Gisburn is in a good condition, lot of repair work been done over the last 18 months on the board walk section, log ride and Swoopy. Bottoms is shut at the moment due to felling and trail repairs. There's a new section opened, long way down since you last went as well.

There are puddles but not too much mud.

Hey, I was there last Sunday and although there was quite few puddles the trails were great considering the recent weather. I was surprised how well they were.
The section from the fire road (after hully gully and up the hill) towards the new log ride part was closed too. Hopefully its open this weekend. ( sorry i cant remember the name of that bit)

No that section is still closed for a few weeks whilst actual forestry operations are carried out. Trail building contractors are scheduled to come in and finish refurbishing it once the felling is complete.
