My first ever 12 hour event and what a great event it was the course was a great mix of singletrack and fire roads with a killer climb at the end. By 7.20 last night i was certianly glad i didnt have to climb it again.my only complaint would be the lack of first aid cover my wife fell off and badly bruised her knee and on asking for an ice pack was told sorry we only have a basic first aid kit. That said we will certianly be back next year as long as the sun is shining.Did anyone else enjoy themselves ?

Yes, good day too. Course was too easy though IMO. The bit through the woods was good fun but all the rest was pretty bland, and certainly not challenging. Usually trail centre criticism... Well run though but 12 hours is pushing it IMO. By about 8 I'd done everything I could lap time wise, and just wanted beer by then.

thanks. I think the van might have been Ant White's in that case. It was ace though, a right old (friendly) ding-dong all day really.

The first three pairs teams were really quick, a level above everyone else. I think we were 6th or 5th in pairs. I have'nt raced for eight years and I did on reflection really enjoy it.

I thought the course was great, anything more technical would have made it too hard for a 12 hour, especially for the solo guys.

All in all a good day, the weather was great which helped a lot.

I loved it and thought the course was great. Enough techical stuff to keep me interested, but some recovery sections. Although the last climb had me climbing from lap 4 onwards.
