A dogs dinner of a bike?

Wonder if they have fixed the issue of the main pivot wrecking the frame?

Looks ace!

If love one, if I lived some where rocky and I was doing massive jumps every ride.

As neither of those things are true, I'll have to stick to my 130mm rear travel bike.

Does look nice - not in green though.....
I'll stick with my '17 Mega - 170/160 travel is more than enough for me.

They surely ain't gonna get away with that. Slight difference on the top link but aside from that exactly the same. Just the name might even get them in trouble. Though I suspect the legal people will have already been all over it.

Wowser if you put a silhouette up you’d be hard pushed to guess which is which.

I was wondering if Giga would turn out to be their E-Bike. Surprised they haven't released one yet.

I believe this is a linkage-activated single pivot, while SC bikes use the VPP suspension system.

SC are highly unlikely to have any legal claim to the silhouette of their bikes.

If that were the case, Trek would be bigger than Apple after cleaning up on all the bikes that "look like a Session".

Whoever is in charge of the colour schemes at Nukeproof needs a slap, clearly inspired by bathroom suites from the 70's. What's next years colour, peach.

Nukeproof HQ, pictured yesterday...

I think they have some of the best colours in the biz, but they are overdoing it with that green. I suppose avocados are quite hipster though.

dunno, but when you look at the new megas, that right-angle kink in the downtube at the BB - just looks like a motor is missing! i reckon the mega will be their e-bike platform?

Tbf, this also mirrors SC's recent offerings!

They already have a platform, the Heckler.

I think @mahalo's talking about the Nukeproof Mega, not the Megatower.

Yes please, 10/10 would buy. Actually more like a shell pink Stratocaster. Literal Pinkbike.

You guys are focusing on the looks. I'm more interested in being able to tune progression and anti squat by moving the main pivot up or down.

At the risk of derailing this, it doesn't matter how good the ride is if it frightens children and small animals. It's a moped at best (good fun to ride but you wouldn't want your mates to see you with it).

But eye of the beholder and all that, I'm sure it's not actually god awful (not many bikes are these days) either. Hell, plenty of folk hated the Curtis posted the other day.

Surprised there wasn't another linkage at the main pivot, disappointed they've not made it a mullet, also disappointed nobody uploaded the mitchell & webb avocado bathroom sketch.

It's a fine-looking frame - definitely on the "sled" end of the steed-rig-sled spectrum.

I really like the looks (colour, not so much).
I always liked the solid rear triangle look (this, Evils, Oranges), and wondered why especially back in the FSR patent days more brands didnt do something similar, rather than a load of seatstay pivots that still give you a single pivot with linkage result...

The way you can adjust the main pivot to change the progression is pretty cool.

Assuming it doesn't come loose, it would make going from coil to air and back a doddle. More useful than adjustable geometry you never touch.

"More useful than adjustable geometry you never touch"

The reason most people never use adjustable geometry is they almost always make the low setting the best one and then the high setting isn't as fun. When actually they should make the high setting what the low setting normally is, and then have an even lower slacker setting that's too extreme for pedally use.

But I like the adjustable leverage rate, that's clever.

It is really smart, isn't it?

You could always just pop some offset bushings in if you wanted it even slacker for an Alps trip or something.
