A friend has got a 2011 Giant Anthem X5. He brought it brand new less than a year ago.

After a ride today I was checking over a few noises that had been occurring. I've taken the cranks off a regreased and refitted them and have found that the internal BB that is installed is moving. It is definatly the BB that is the problem.

As it was brought brand new and is less than a year old. Would my LBS (official Giant dealer) repair it under Warrenty?

Cheers

What do you mean exactly?

Speak to the LBS where it was purchased from first of all, I'd imagine it would be a warranty issue.

Giant's warranty department are, for the record, utterly superb.

This is true. I cracked a 4 year, 10 month old VT frame a while back. Replaced with a Reign frame within a week!
