I've got a 2017 Trance 2 and I love it. It climbs really well and gives me confidence descending.

Trance 3 review here: http://www.mbr.co.uk/reviews/full-suspension-bikes/giant-trance-27-5-3-review

I'd second what they say about the tyres and stem. My LBS swapped the stem before I collected it and the schwalbe tyres are a bit fragile.

The paintwork is not to durable though - I'd seriously consider getting it helitaped before you use it. Mine has lots of scratches on it already and I've only had it 3 months.

I'm running a 2014 trance 3 frame and echo all that Slackboy says above, Just bought some Marzocchi 350ncr's to upgrade the fox 32's(stiffen up the front).
I have had trances for the last 10+yrs and i really like the way they ride, this one just gives so much confidence to my riding whether cross country or on an uplift at Bpw.
