I've got one - it's excellent.

Bought it last September, the day it came into the local shop, as an upgrade for a 27.5 2015 Trance stolen by my son.

It’s an excellent bike: rolls along nicely and eats obstacles.

First  big ride on it in the Ochils I cleaned a steep switchback climb that I hadn’t ridden for years.

I tend to prefer my hardtail for local skooshes – moved to a 29er  Stanton Sherpa because the 29er Trance was so awesome but have still done 700 miles on it without really trying.

Only problem I have had is that the freehub exploded in May this year. Shop replaced it there and then. And the bike is currently parked up because I bent the rear mech last weekend on the Lairig Ghru (stick in the back wheel) and awaiting a replacement.

If you buy a new one check the rocker as you take the bike out the box - the paint on mine was chipped there where the front wheel rested in transit. Got a discount but annoying.

A mate's got one; I've a Norco Fluid FS1. Both pretty similar and great allrounders. Except the Giant has a poxy pushfit BB and it needs changing already. Did a week in Livigno, uplifts and ride-ups, both were great.

We both changed to 1x11 Shimano and brakes, plus Hunt Trailwide wheels.
