Hi all, anybody using a left crank arm power meter like Stages or 4iii on their alloy frame Giant TCX?

I'm aware that you can check this with a AA battery etc., but clearance look really tight on mine and I'd rather hear about real world examples.

Yep, I have a 2016 year model and have a stages (latest version) and clearance is fine. I had the previous model and that also worked but was replaced under warranty. If the stages fits I would have thought the 4iii would also

Exclusively run 4iiii power meters. Had a couple of frames in the past that had very tight clearance. If you're not sure, put a little insulation tape over the chainstay and go for a ride round the close. Check the insulation tape for marks. One frame required spacing out the crank arm 1mm so I ordered a PTFE washer from eBay with a 24mm internal diameter. Worked perfectly and the washer was unmarked after 2 years use. Never noticed the extra 1mm difference!

As per Variflex I had a Stages on an alloy TCX SLR and there's was plenty of clearance.

I got a 4iiii because it was on sale and quite a bit cheaper than the stages, but clearance was less than 1mm, so I ended up using a spacer.
