[Closed] Giant overdrive & overdrive 2 headtubes, different frame headtubes or not?

As above. I know the upper bearing on the 2 is 1"1/4. Sure I've heard that they are the same and the 1"1/4 bearings are slightly smaller to allow for the 1" 1/4 steerer?

You heard right.Just a different top bearing.
