Picked up a fairly bargainous Defy pro today. The stem is too long at 110, I would like 90mm with between 0 and 5 degree rise, the standard Giant 8 is too much (too low one way and looks rubbish the other). Did a Google search which threw up a few suggestions (Ritchey, Syntace) but they were all a few years old. Anyone found anything else recently? Hard to find OD stems by searching as 1"1/4 throws up all sorts and 31.8 is the standard bar clamp size

Pro do one but I think the drop is more than the Giant one. Just run a Giant one with a spacer under the stem if it's too low.

Some options here...

Ritchey and Pro make stems for OD2. The Ritchey alloy WCS stems are very nice and I have a 100 on one of my bikes. Sourced mine from Ebay when I built up my Propel.

Syntace don't seem to offer much for road bikes any more, and stock is rare in the UK. Ritchey also seem limited.

Zipp now make an Service Course SL OS stem suitable for Giant OD2 and certain Canyon bikes.

I got one of these for mrs. esher shore for her Propel Advanced Pro, but it took 6 weeks as it was a special order through Fisher Outdoor Leisure - they are generally not held in stock.

Pro (shimano) make an OS stem but its in limited stock at Madison

Cheers, the Zipp one looks good,Evans have them but not in 90mm. Didn't want to spend that much either. If I get one off Rocco at least I can be sure of the length, pretty sure I'll go for a 90 but might decide on 100

Just need to figure out how to stop the internal cables rattling now, I can't stand noisy bikes!
