Anyone remember these? Got the chance of a 2001 model built to the same spec I would of back then...should I buy it?
I've spent a lot on my current mtb over the years, upgraded it, changed it from HT to rigid, adapted it for commuting ant touring, it's been a great jack of all trades and still makes me love the singletrack.
However, the Giant was a bike of my dreams and it would be nice to have a dedicated mtb "just for fun", and give my current bike a rest from being bolted and unbolted each week!
That or I spend the money on a cheap commuting bike and some new suspension forks for my current bike. Did think about the second set of wheels option, but fitting and removing full mudguards and rack after work before a blast around the forest is a bit tedious so a second bike would make more sense (I know a carbon HT is not sensible, given I already own a Ti HT!)
Sounds like one for the STW crowd (best hide my wallet, this could get expensive!)
