Hi all
Looking at a giant defy or a bmc roadmachine. The defy model that looks good is the one with ththe integrated seatpost. Alternative is the bmc roadmachine but little info out there. Does anyone have a defy and if so did you get th standard seatpost or the ISP? -any real world weights?
Also how is the own brand SLR1 wheelset?

I have the previous one. Also have a Propel with ISP. I test ride the Defy Advanced without, and have a Propel without as well. There is little difference. My Defy ISP has a slightly different profile to the D-Fuse and Vector posts.
The SLR wheels are excellent. I've done 1000's of miles on mine,crashed them hard enough to snap forks, and they remain true. Mine have the original DT hubs. Not sure if the top end wheels still do, but Giant went to own-brand hubs for their cheaper SLR wheels.
