No Problems from mine in a year of hard use. Couple of other people I ride with have them and not heard a complaint from any of them. Can't say the same of Reverb and Thompson owners with one who has had four or five warranty exchanges on a Reverb.

The older (75, 100mm drops) were fine. Reliable, although after 18 months mine has excessive sideways play now (feels like loose wheel bearings when I ride as my lower twists on the play). Oh, and you needed to do the single bolt for saddle retention/angle adjustment *really* tight!

On the strength of the old post, I bought one of the 'new' 125mm drops. Same bike, same riding conditions. It lasted 4 months...

Was never smooth up/down, especially when wet/dirty. The anodising rubbed off the back of the post. I helped the smoothness by loading with grease (unscrew top collar, pile on grease, depress a little so grease is sucked through the seal, repeat until no more grease is sucked in). However, the cartridge ended up stuck in the 'open' position, making for a very bouncy suspension post.

A friend also bought one at the same time, and he had similar problem with stickiness/non-smoothness. He didn't load with grease and eventually his just stuck in the 'up' position.

I don't know what they've done, as the old dropper was fine and very reliable. It's as if the new seals just don't...

Was taken back by LBS and I've bought a Crank Brothers Highline (which, as I'm now discovering, has its own set of issues...)

I had the same issue as above, wearing of the anodising. But also had the lever (I didn't run it stealth) at the top of the seatpost become very 'grotted up' and became hard to operate, resulting in it getting stuck sometimes leaving me with a seatpost that wouldn't stay down (including one time at the top of Ingleborough).

I had it exchanged by Giant and the new one seems fine so far, but not had it that long.

Had mine on the Trance Advanced 1 2016 (two bolt design) for about 2 months now and it's been great. No complaints. I do clean it after every ride and grease it every now and then, under the collar.

I have one but its about 10mm too short for the hight it needs to be so I swapped it for a Reverb.

Its a niece post that whilst i was trying it out was nice and smooth - it wasn't new from the off.

@ HTS - Mine is now spare if you want to give it a try or buy it - or try it and then buy it 😉 I'd only be after £40 posted.
