I'm thinking of the anthem 29er . I really like the white frame on the 2 but think the spec on 1 is worth the extra cost.
Can I buy a 1 but ask for white frame?
I , like you , preferred the colour of the 2 or last years 1 but got a big discount on this years 29er 1 so went for that. Now I've got it I really like the colour. Email in profile if you want any more info on price and where I got it from. Rides fantastic by the way.

I was thinking exactly that about the frames. 2 looks much better than 1 this year. FWIW, I loved 1 last year but demoed 2 this year with a trance at same time. Front suspension was not set up brilliantly, avids were cack and r Ralph's not great on slippy roots. Quite the opposite feel to the 1 which I almost bought last year. I was disappointed with the 2.
I've got the 1, simply cos of the spec & the fact it's not got SRAM gears.
They look way better in real life than in any t'interweb photos
