I'm due to get the forks on my 2017 Anthem serviced in the next couple of weeks and was thinking of getting the travel upped from 120mm to 130mm while they are in the workshop.
The 2017 Anthem SX came with 130mm RS Pikes. All the 2018 Anthems came with 130mm forks and Giant have told me that the 2017 frame is identical to the 2018 and will take a 130mm fork without voiding the warranty.
I'd be interested to hear what the ride is like from anyone running 130mm forks on their Anthem.
I swapped mine to 130mm, shortened the stem. Main reason I swapped min e was the forks that came on it were QR dropouts and 32mm stantions. Swapped to a bolt through Revelation with 34mm stantions to stiffen it up. If you can up the travel then you might as well.
