Ghost Downhill frames on Amazon

I noticed that there are a lot of Ghost DH frames on Amazon (2012/2013 model, I would have thought) but they have been listed under different names. This one, for example:

I saw at half a dozen or so, most with different names.

I'm just wondering if this is a scam (although how scams work on Amazon I don't know) or if a container of frames was found somewhere and someone is trying to shift them without anyone from Ghost noticing.

Anyone want to buy one and let us know how you got on?

I wouldn't knock it. It has carbon fiber rods and titanium screws. By the look of it those fancy welded carbon fiber rods.

They may ship the G decal separately???

Seriously though, do these frames actually exist or is it some sort of scam? If so, how do these scams work?

I suspect they're legit - as in they really are a 10 year old Ghost frame being sold by a random. Someone probably had half a dozen in the back of a warehouse at an old frame manufacturer that ghost never paid for / collected after a production run.

Good to know. If they knock another 50%-75% off the price it might be worth a punt.

Although I suspect it's not worth it if you're in any way concerned about warranties...
