Any advice or people starting out again.

Had an injury which led to using flats till my achilles sorted itself.
Except for 2 years I've stuck to flats.

Before I couldn't ride without being clipped in, now I'm scared of falling off.

Is there a cycle shrink I can see? 😉

Tighten them up all the way, death or glory. It's the only way.

Lol. Thanks. I did that on a black run in Wales as a dare but was fit enough to keep pedalling with just one fall.

Just fitted multi release angle cleats to my shoes and will use the loosest setting!

Hopefully lighten my bike a bit too.

Multi release are hateful things. They tend to detach exactly when you least want them to and can lead to you falling off, often at speed. Falls caused by not releasing at least tend to be whilst stopped or almost stationary

That's the problem or maybe the hard floor!

Will practise over the couch/leaning on a wall.

Bloody fear.

Honestly your making it worse...

For some fun today (bored rolling down the road) it was unclipping both feet and just droping my feet of to them. Once you get rolling you will be fine.

Just do it. You may fall a few times but it's usually fairly innocuous; more embarrassing than painful

Hi, I've just got these for CX bike. It's chucking it down cats and dogs 🙁

Will put on the loosest setting. I tend to use xc and road.

Double sided means good access. Bit heavy but cheap-ish £17.99.

(Not my pics btw)

Also have these fitted on to road bike now but single sided. Will move on to dedicated pedals soon.
