A big box arrived from JRA yesterday with a shiney new set of wheels.
All I needed to do was take the centre lock rotors off the on-one wheels I was using and put them onto the XT hubs.

It turned out that the on-ones were using some sort of Kore fitting thing to hold the rotors on with an odd sized lock ring.

After 10 minutes looking through some boxes I found 1 shimano lock ring that came with the group that I bought and then I remembered that there was only 1 in the original shipment but as it didn't matter at the time I ignored it.

Now I have to find a single damned lock ring before I can use the.

AHH! 😥

I threw all the packaging away for a frame I was going to build for the wife, imagine my supprise when I put it all together 2 weeks later and had no mech hangar, only to re read my e-mails/receipts and it was apparently taped to the inside of the box... 😳

Mate of mine still hasn't got his lock ring on his front saint rotor, it is still attached on using zip ties (feels very sturdy mind) can't say i would want to run it like this but so far, so good for him.

Zip ties !!

I'll have a look at it, but I think I'll be passing a bike shop tomorrow so I'll try to get one. It is just annoying.
