[Closed] getting Marzocchi forks repaired - how/where?

Selling some 55s for a mate, the damper unit has blown he says. Where can they be repaired? Is it like Rockshox with a drop in unit or more complicated? Seems a waste to chuck forks that are in great nick due to a dodgy damper 🙁

It would be easy to fit the cartridge yourself. I did it for my mate when the cartridge broke in his Z1's. Think it cost him about £80 for a new cartridge, dont know how much it'd be for a 55.

What year? The 08-09 are famous for it and there is a home brew fix that involves drilling a hole and IIRC turning it into an open bath fork.

same for the 55's David £80

they are the 08 ones MC,i heard about the drilling and did'nt marzochi do it as a warranty on these?

Most of the fork tuners wont touch the 55 so it will probably need to be a diy job

Surely Windwave will service/repair? (I'm assuming these predate the 3year warranty)
