What with one thing and another been off the saddle a while, I'm now looking at getting a bike - no more than £800, preferably less if poss, outright cash purchase so no cycle to work schemes I'm afraid

Looking at a hardball for short commute to work and the light woodland and park trails near me now I've moved

Budget stated above, I'm a short arse at around 5' 6" with 29" leg so looking at probably a 15 in 29 size or 16 in 27.5

Liking the look of the cube Ltd race or pro on crc or the vitus sentier 290

Ideally after decent frame and fork with mid to decent components as well

Are the models above good??

Cube Ltd race 29 or pro 29 or the vitus

I've also seen the cube acid at a reasonable price

Cheers
