Aw come on ElShal, local Facebook groups (you’re Hudds aren’t you) full of pics and vids of inversions particularly from Saturday. It’s clear up on the tops above Holmfirth this morning.

Ahh wow, that's amazing! I had a day like that in the lakes a few years back - you feel like you're in a different world. Love it!

The best ones are where you slog up through the freezing mizzle and find it's t-shirt temperatures above.

Climbed into the fog this morning, up on Longstone Edge. Just not high enough to climb out into clear air.

It wasn’t clear above the fog in my part of West Yorkshire - we got to the highest point on Ilkley Moor and could hardly see!

Great photo OP

@scuttler - No, I'm up in Stainland just over the "border" in Calderdale.

Sat: rode to Hardcastle Crags/Gibson Mill - fog all day.  Sun: local walk over towards Scamm Res - fog all day.  Mon: I'm at my desk now looking at the fog outside

We've been trying to stay fairly local so didn't venture too far. I've seen loads of photos from the weekend with lovely sunny conditions. I guess the lack of wind meant we got to sit in the fog

Some local drone fiddler made this from Saturday (Holme Moss). He states he's a newbie so I might see if he wants practice following moving targets...

Soz. 🙁

I ventured as far as the Lancashire border (Standedge) on Saturday and it was glorious 'over therrr'. Blackstone Edge would've worked not that that's any use to you but any of us Yorkshire / Lancashire borderlanders should know it always pays to check the weather on the other side.

Bastards! Tried to get the family out to the dales for a walk in sat with hope of an inversion. Too much bollocking around meant we didn't quite make time to get far/high enough.
