Looking at getting a Ti frame refinished to bring it back to its former glory.

Can anyone recommend anywhere which can do this for me?

Thanks

What finish do you want?

Enigma is the default (expensive) choice.

DIY with scotchbrite pads is the cheaper choice.

Try some Autosol and elbow grease first. Will really surprise you if it's just raw and tarnished.

Took me 20 minutes to renovate mine to looking like new.

DIY - get a Scotchbrite polishing wheel on an electric drill is a lot quicker that by hand.

Try and find a titanium fabricator and see who they use?

What I've had great success with is getting the downtube polished, masking a design/logo followed by vapour-blast, leaving a polished logo on the frame - quite subtle and distinctive.

Silvio wadding polish brings TI up nice n' shiny or a Grey scotchbrite pad for a smooth brushed look, use with a bucket of soapy car wash to get a uniform finish or a red scotchbrite pad for a slightly rougher look

I used a red scotchbrite pad for brushed finish. Really easy to bring it back. Think I paid a fiver for the pad. Or was it two pads (red and green) and finished with the green one? Was a while back, sorry.

Google Scotch-brite and titanium finish?

As above pretty easy to do a diy brushed finish, but if you fancy something more complex or have any questions drop me an email sales@enigmabikes.com

Rubbing GT85 over it can make it look better.
