I got a loan of 2 from progression bikes in Dunkeld

Both my son and I normally ride full fat 4" tired bikes and I was genuinely shocked at how capable the b+ was , even on sand

Fast, flexible and fun , no downsides bar perhaps needing some quite aggressive treads if your local thing is mud

My next bike will be a 27.5 plusser for definate

I got a Tarn 10 earlier in the year in the classifieds from a certain other poster on this thread. 😉

Wasn't 100% sold on it at first. Switched the heavy and brittle stock CST BFT tyres for tubeless WTB Bridger Front/Trail Boss rear and it's now the go-to bike for all off-road duties. Great fun. Better with a dropper. Strava sez I'm faster on it, both up and downhill, than the 29 hardtail and full-susser that are now lurking forlornly in the shed.

Will upgrade the nicky-no-names Shimano groupset for something better when it wears out. Been blessed with a lo-ong, dry summer though, so not sure how it'll go when the winter gloop sets in and 3" of tyre acquires another 2" of sticky clay-ey mud.
