can any Tarn owners comment on the max 29er tyre size?  Thinking about buying one but want to make sure a 3.0 29er will fit.

No pic to hand but I've had the 29x3" Knard on the 29mm rim with room to spare. hth

Run 29x3.0 Minion on mine on a 45mm internal rim. Plenty of room.

Doesn’t show clearance particularly, but....

Thanks chaps. Do you know the axle to crown height? The chap selling them claims 510mm, but that sounds quite high for a 29er fork.

It’s at home and I’m on holiday with a different bike, but sounds about right. It’s certainly longer than the 490mm fork I have on my SS.

Does anyone know how the tarn fork compares to the stache rigid fork which is designed as a plus fork? Thanks

The Stache fork was first used on Trek’s 2015 Superfly 29er Singlespeed. It’s not a plus specific fork. No better or worse for that though.
