As there was no new Genesis Fortitude for 2014, do you think that the 2015 version will be a 29+?
I do like the Surly Krampus but I just think the bottom bracket is too high, so if Genesis bring out a 29+ bike that could be great. Also, do you think a Northpaw S47 29+ rim would work front and back in an existing Genesis Fortitude race frame, say with a 2.3 tyre?

I'd be a little surprised, given that the Fortitude never sold in enough numbers to justify keeping it the range. Genesis will know better than I though. I'd imagine that the Caribou will somewhat test the water too.

The clearance out back on my Adventure is good but not great. Wouldn't have thought a 47mm rim would work as it would plump out a tyre too much.
Like the idea though 🙂
