Thinking of one for my commuter/wet weather road bike/light tourer.

Genesis's website states that the non disc version has a lighter 631 frame AND FORK (2.1, 095kg vs 725 and carbon @ 2.3, 1.2kg)...which sounds bizarre...does anyone know?

Also...how noodly are they with a weekend's worth of kit loaded on panniers?

it is the non-disk one that is 725, so should be lighter.

Mine is 20.5lbs with mavic kysrium equipe wheels and 105 level kit.

weight of a 60cm, 725, non-disc frame = 2070g

stiffness? - no idea, i weigh 77kg, and haven't had a rack on it.

i HAVE had a rack on my cdf, and didn't notice anything weird...

Did 560miles through the alps a couple of years back with panniers and bar bag a couple of years back on my non disc 725 version with no problems
