Maybe I'm thick or just reading it wrong....
Does the review close by saying that the gearing on the Day One Disc [b]will[/b] see you spin out at 14mph, or is it saying that if it had a gear suitable for proper mountain biking then it [b]would[/b] spin out at 14mph?
I'm assuming that they meant the latter?

Must be, because 42x18 spins out at nearer 25mph

Yeah the latter, although I've changed mine to 42x16 for commuting duties
