You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Went to IceBike yesterday. Really liking the Genesis range - particularly like this: At a pinch I could get rid of all my bikes and get me one of these. Since I've never been able to get rid of a bike that's probably not going to happen though.
I'm very tempted too.
that looks awesome 8)
big fan of the range too, im just waiting for the call to say my genesis IO ID is ready for collection.
Any idea how much?
Looks ace. Should be SS and with a black stem IMHO
Timbur, it was SS for 2010 and there will be a 2011 SS version too but in yellow. The Alfine version should be just under a grand so perfect for Bike To Work.
I know. Almost got tempted but ended up with a Tricross SS.
That Orange colour is ace and disc look so right.
Or - silver 'pin.with a black stem
You can always pretend it's SS by not changing gear - got all the other advantages ie. no mech and a tidy chain, just a bit of extra weight.
Also has mudguard/rack mounts, two bottle-bosses
Saw these photos. Never noticed the silver stem, that must be a mistake, just for the display. It just looks wrong. I'm quite tempted to ditch my Flyer for this.
Got to be black. Look at the rest of the kit!
Collars and cuffs dear boy :O)
ooohh now that does look nice
Hubs are silver, different colour bars is cool. I'd have plain metal cranks too though.
Doesn't matter that much - mine would be permanently covered in grime anyway.
I'm getting a day one SS in september on the cycle to work scheme. £500. the rest of the grand will be spent on goodies, inc. a pair of sidis for the proper road bike...
And as I'm moving about 8 miles away from work, I will actually be cycling to work on it!
I might get a DEDA stem and bar combo for it though, and maybe proper cantis
and maybe proper cantis
Why? Mini 'V's are more powerful than canti's are they not.
sliver stem matches the hubs as a highlight, no need for it to match the pin or bars really, contrast can be nice too?
ahwiles, hi ) yes it'll be 279.99 frame / 119.99 fork, but in the red/white of the Eq 20. glad you like the black tho, i'm a sucker for gloss balck bikes too..

yes, but I fancy doing some CX racing and clearance on the Vs is an issue
