If anyone is interested in buying one, I have just done a review on it:

Currently in MBUK's March issue 'most wanted'
That's not a lot of money for a lot of light!
Impressive for the money if the lumen count is fairly accurate
I think it would defeat the object of night riding for me though. I barely ever turn my current glow-worm x2 up to max because it stops feeling like a night ride when you can see everything as well as you could in full daylight.
I like that on a night ride you can’t see all the trail details and you feel like you are going a million miles an hour and all that matters is the 20ft in front of you.
It would be good to win the lumen war against your mates though.
am I missing it or does the review not actually say how long the burn time is?
EDIT - got it off their website, would be nice to know if real world matches claimed though.
In terms of run time experience, I had it on 2.5 hrs last night in the cold on max. It was still showing green when I got home. 8 cell version. So happy with that
I think if you like very technical or fast steep DH type riding at night then a higher lumens count is more than valid. Everyone to their own I guess.
The review is just my experience
exact how defiant is it?
Oh hello? I've been running a pair of Duos for a while now & this might be next winters set up.
I do like fast and steep dh in the dark and still do it with dim lights even though I have a light that will go brighter. Its part of the appeal of night riding that its not the same as riding it the daylight. We also play a game on some fairly big gap jumps where we incrementally turn down our lights and see who will still do the jump.
