Just come across this brand. Love the bladder and the fact you can turn inside out for cleaning and the idea of a pressurised water jet.
They seem extremely well built as well but expensive.
Was looking at the Rig 1200 - but maybe too big?
Anyone got one/ use their bladders?
No-one used one of these?
What's wrong with just using the compression strap on your Camelbak to ensure the water comes out under pressure?
How would the compression strap thing work?
I have the 500 http://www.cyclesurgery.com/pws/UniqueProductKey.ice?ProductID=CGEI0004YY . I won't have another. You have to put the filled bladder in first, then pack everything you want to take with you into the pack and then put it on. Pump the bladder up, it pushes hard on to your back in a not altogether comfortable way. Both the bladder tube and the air tube release themselves quite randomly. No fluid leaks out but you suddenly find yourself with no drink and you have to unpack the whole thing and start again.
5 out of 10 from me. I wouldn't bother again.
Nothing. But I'm sick of not being able to wash the inside of a Camelback, having to struggle to get the full Camelbak bladder into the pack as it just turns into a floppy bag with no structure, and having it collapse inside the pack and strangle the water coming out of it as the water level reduces.
Just think that both the Geigerrig system and indeed the Osprey system seem to be more up to date.
The Osprey hydraulics bladder system is much better than the Geigerrig.
