I've been trying to find where to get and how to install Ice cream sandwich for my Samsung Galaxy Note without much luck, i've just found sites saying that I have to root my phone (like jailbreaking an Iphone) . Surely there has to be a more legitimate way than this??
Has anyone done this or got any tips??

I have got a Note with ICS (had it for about 2 months now). No need to root your phone. Plug your phone into your PC with the USB and open the Kies software and it should update our phone, assuming your carrier has released ICS for your Note.
