Evening,

Just finished building my fs frame up, set the gears up in the stand, worked fine, set the shock up to my weight, and went for a spin. The rear mech was shifting under my weight, which is a new one on me. What do i have to do differently to the hardtails I'm used to?

Cheers,

Tom

that would be my guess as well or it catching on a moving suspension part/pivot doing the same.Possibly poor indexing needs a little fettling?

Cheers TJ, would that just be the inner, or both that are too short?

Edit: Indexing was fine in the stand, shifted up and down perfec'like.

The outer will be too short but that in turn means the inner will also be too short.

Spot on all, it's not a single outer, and the bit of the outer that goes from main to rear triangle was run like i was setting up my hardtail. Stuck another bit there, with about 8cm or so extra length, and it's shifting like a dream.

Cheers guys!
