looking at running an 1 X 8 setup on an old hardtail frame as a child carrying/towpath/old railway line bike as i can make use of lots of old stuff with the exception of needing a new front chainring.
I'm thinking of using a 36 on the front with a 28-11 cassette, too high too low? thoughts welome
