I hope someone out there can satisfy my curiosity about the gears that kids have to push on starter bikes.
If I know the chainring size, sprocket size and wheel size, is there a calculation I can do to work out what the equivalent gear is on my bike (a 26 inch wheel with a 32T single ring up front)?
I just thought it would be interesting to ride my bike in a similar gear to them to see how much effort they were having to exert and see 'how' they are doing.
Apologies if this is a stupid question - it might be, due to the wheel size difference, but if not I'd find the answer quite interesting.
