GC or HR2 up front?

I think it’s pretty obvious but please settle a discussion.  You have a dual compound High Roller 2 and Ground Control T7 Grid, both 2.35.

Which one goes on the front?

If stuck with that choice then GC on front.

Alternatively, when I got my Epic Evo I took both of the GC off as I find them slow and put Forekaster on the front and Rekon on the rear.

The GC are in a box unridden to get sold at some point.

HR2 front - bigger side knobs, slower rolling.

This isn’t for the Evo, it’s for my sons Vitus Mythique / trail.    The Evo went Barzo & Mezcal at the weekend.

GC is a great aggressive / damp (but not muddy) weather XC front tyre but for trail - better on the back so what @Yak says.

( I run GG 2.35 T7 front and back in the autumn winter and then switch to a Fast Trak T7 on the back for spring / summer on my XC bike).
