Hi folks. ive got a file on my touring edge that i want to upload but it wont let me upload it. The file is a .fit file. Long story short.. i accidentally deleted it from my strava, but the file is still on my device. when i connect my device it doesnt automatically upload it. when i open the file on the computer it wont let me manually drag it into garmin connect and when i try and manually upload it to strava (even though it is a .fit file) it says that it is not recognised.. What is wrong? 😕
Strava will not let you upload the same thing twice even if you delete it. You could load it into a GPS viewer to see if it's valid and mail strava support to get it manually added.

Just mail support with the file they have done loads of stuff when I've cocked up before. Just check to see that the file isn't corrupt though

Once you've deleted it they should let you upload it again, I've done that plenty of times. Normally I'd say corrupt XML, but odd if it's uploaded once already.
End result i'd do as Mike suggests and email them the file.
