I've just come to upload a 36mile ride in gozo and it's saying file empty. Before I set it on fire can any one help me. I'm a bit technically inept and currently sans pc.
It's an edge 200 if that helps

Sure - I'd douse it in lighter fluid, light it with a long match but please take care. 😆
A recent Garmin Express update here is causing it to moan that files are invalid. Try plugging it in over USB and looking in Garmin/Courses in Finder/Explorer/whatever and see if you can spot the file there. Express was moaning about my last longish ride but copying the file out directly and then uploading to Strava worked just fine.
I'll have to wait till I'm back near a pc. I can send the .fit file to anyone too see if it's just me n my USB on the phone. I noticed the calories count was mental but that didn't worry me..
You have to pay for fitfilerepair tool, otherwise it only repairs half the file.
