I've got a Vivoactive HR but fancy a change to something a bit more watch like and probably thinner.
I like the Garmin interface etc so not sure I want to change to a different brand but not sure what I'd get from a Fenix that the Vivoactive wouldn't also deliver.
Anyone tried both - views?
Yep.
I went from a Fenix 3, via a Vivoactive 3, to a Fenix 5 (mid sized).
The Vivoactive last 48 hours before it went back.
It felt like an Xmas cracker toy after the Fenix 3. Which granted, was a big watch, especially as I have skinny girl wrists. It looked, and felt cheap. The interface wasn't that great, although an improvement on the previous generation Fenix 3, the touchscreen was annoying.
The mid sized 5 is great. If you can stomach the cost, it's basically better in every way. Yes it has some features I don't use, even as a multi sport user, but I have no complaints 🙂
