Want to get something bright(ish) for daytime use on the gnarmac bike. I have a 500 lumen Moon that is great, bit I can't work out a neat way to fit it without either fouling cables or flashing on the screen of my Garmin.
I gather K-Edge do a GoPro adapter for their out front mount, which would seem to be a neat and tidy solution.
So, what lights ar compatible with that mounting system? Joystick? Or....?
Want something with a good flashing mode for daytime use in bad weather, and good enough to get home with along the lanes if a ride takes too long, mechanicals/punctures/etc. So, not a monster of a light, probably 500-900 lumens or so.
TIA.
Garmin do a light, which I'd imagine mounts nicely with Garmins, and also dims/brightens with speed by linkign to the GArmin.

What's your budget?
And are you interested in a helmet mounted light instead of a bar mounted light? (which could then incorporate a rear light)
Exposure Link+ on the helmet?
Don't really want a helmet light here. My Moon 500 can go on the lid if needed. Want a neat, bright one, mounted under my Garmin, like that picture above. (Already have excellent rear lights and a little Moon F&R combined back up, but it's not massively bright.)
Budget? Under £200 I think.
Not keen on that Garmin light. Seems gimmicky for what I need.
I use a Garmin and a light without seeing any reflection or flashing. Probably because the Garmin is mounted on the bars, not in front of them.

That's nice, dear. 😉
Sadly irrelevant, as I like my Garmin out front. Keeps the bars tidy and all bits of the tops available for hand position.
Garmin do a combo mount http://www.wiggle.co.uk/garmin-cycling-combo-mount-for-edge-virb/?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&sku=5360717975&kpid=5360717975&utm_source=google&utm_term&utm_campaign=UK_PLA_Garmin&utm_medium=base&utm_content=mkwid%7cs6wCda40M_dc%7cpcrid%7c73654722422%7cpkw%7c%7cpmt%7c%7cprd%7c5360717975uk which is a fair bit cheaper than the K-Edge mount.
Already have a K-Edge, so would only need the GoPro adapter, not a new mount.
About to do the same Flashy
Got given a K-Edge with Go-Pro mount on it, and a little 300 lumen light and have been impressed with the convenience of it all on my carbon road bike, but obviously not the 300 lumen light. Normally run a joystick with a bar mount, but just about to buy a Go-Pro style mount. And to be fair, probably going to get a Diablo to go with it too, as though I don't need 1300 lumens, it's only about 30g heavier and the beam pattern is a little broader which will be useful for night time excursions on my CX bike.
So if anyone is interested, got a nearly new MK10 joystick for sale very soon!
Nice Exposure light and something from here to suit? Not tried racewaredirect stuff myself but it looks useful
Got the Garmin light and it's actually pretty good , the light patterns nice an wide and it's got a proper cut off like the German stuff.
Cycle path light nazis seem to like it more than any of the other lights I have and you can use it with a remote to dip.
Only downer is the pricing but I did find it made my daily commute much more pleasant.
Fly12 and K-Edge garmin combo. 400 lumens of flashyness and a video to enjoy too. Not that light. but Seemless.
One thing I have noticed is that if I mount my Light & Motion Urban 800 too close the my Garmin Edge I start getting weird readings ie the other day the Cadence was jumping around until moved the light further away.
It appears to be worse on flashing mode.

If I didn't already have a Strada I'd be quite tempted by the Garmin Varia light. I'd certainly like to try one out. Doesn't sound like the sort of thing the OP is after though.
Raceware can print you pretty much anything in nylon,
I have one of these for my Lezyne light and Garmin:

I've got a raceware direct mount which I use with an exposure Diablo - for helmet mounting - it's a very solid hold, tighter than a standard exposure mount. don't bother with a coloured one though, flakes off fairly quickly and looks scruffy.
