Can you use any other straps with the Garmin. Got a new (to me) one coming.
I want a strap but a bit cheaper or better.
I have a couple of HRMs but I guess it no good.
Does any ANT+ work?

Any ANT+ will work, Polar won't.

Has it not arrived yet? Its was posted first class recorded, so let me know if it doesn't.

Anyhow, back on topic someone was selling a garmin HM strap in the classifieds today.

I might be taking 'strap' too literally 🙄 , but I use the Garmin HRM pod that came with my 910 for the electronics, but clipped into a Polar WearLink strap (~£15). It's been more reliable, (no crazy HRM spikes) and for me, much more comfortable than the Garmin Soft Strap I had been using ...

Another vote for the Polar Strap with the Garmin pod. The Garmin straps are just not fit for purpose. I have had four replaced in a year.
